This is one of my favorite hip hop groups. I saw them once when they came to whitefish montana, and it was simply brilliant. I love small venues like that, it makes the whole show more personal. So yea, Mat and Brayden of The Jamhole will be in missoula september 7th for this show, so if you wanna hang out and your gonna be in the same area, email info@thejamhole.com and let us know. We will be bringing Jamhole stickers, and hopefully I can get some to the guys in Sweatshop Union. Going somewhere?

So ever since I got back from the katg cruise, I've been thinking about a lot of shit. If you listen to the jamhole, you will know that the last night i was in Miami, i met the most amazing woman. If your a fan, you will also know that i have the worse luck with relationships. Why should this one be any different? The girl I fell for lives in Argentina. Just my luck right? I finally meet who i think is the girl of my dreams, and she doesn't even live on the same fucking continent as me. It would have been a little easier if she lived in Miami. But of course fuck me, she has to live over ten thousand miles away. Well, that night we fell really hard for each other, and ever since then, we've been trying to figure out a way to make this happen. She has a good job and a place to live in Argentina, I have a good job, a place to live, and an Internet radio show to do here in Montana.

The closest thing we could think of is for me to save up around 5 or 6 thousand dollars (the more the better right?), and taking a 3 month trip to Argentina. I would of course use this time to focus on writing a couple of books I've been wanting to write, and of course getting to know the woman who I haven't stopped thinking about since we said our teary eyed good byes in the Miami airport. It would be silly for two adults who have worked hard for most of their lives to live the way we are living, to just drop everything and leave the country to be with someone they only spent one night with. I think a three month trip there to live with her and be with her, and of course write would be a good thing for me, and for us. Who knows, we might get completely fucking sick of each other after three weeks, or we might be completely head over heels for each other after three months. There's only one way to find out.

This brings us to the one and only real problem. Money. Of course, one cant just stick out a thumb with his life in a back pack and hitch hike to Argentina... Or can you? I just looked up if it was even possible to drive from Montana to Argentina, and it seems that it is possible. Is it practical? Probably fucking not, but then again, is anything about this whole thing practical? Fuck no, but then again, if i wanted practical, i would have went to college and not gotten kicked out, then got a job, then got married, and i probably wouldn't be typing this right now, or having an awesome fucking podcast.

So its about two thousand dollars for a plane ticket to buenos aires from Montana. With the price of gas and all the time it would take to drive there, its probably cheaper to fly. Plus once i get there i really don't wanna have to keep track of a car. Well, between what I can save, what she can save, and all the jamhole fans that wanna see me happy (of course the show will go on from Argentina), I think this is possible. I guess we'll see.

We are Back!

Finally we have returned from the miami / katg cruise trip. We had a most amazing time (see thejamhole.com ep 72 part 1 and part 2). Keith and Chemda are very amazing people, and it was a blast to finally meet them live. Fuck Carnival for even thinking they could control something as massive as this. I should probably start going through all the video and pictures that we took now.

Stuff on my mind

Well, i leave for the keith and the girl cruise on tuesday... It's finally sinking in that im actually going on this cruise. I saved my seat over a year ago, and its finally time. Also, just something i wanna mention...

I was staring at the stars last night ( 08.02.08 ) And i saw something very odd. If you have any idea or if you saw it as well (flathead valley, montana) Please let me know. The object in the night sky was as bright as jupiter appears. It was moving about as fast as an airplane moves, but obviously faster cuz it was much further away. I thought it was an airplane, but as it appeared to fly across the sky, the light started to fizzle out, then finally disappeared. It was moving in a perfectly straight line, so i was thinking possibly a meteor or even a downed satellite. Anyways, its kind of been bugging me and i have no idea what the correct answer is. So if you know, email me or leave me a comment.

In other news, thejamhole.com (my comedy podcast) is having the last episode before i leave for the cruise for a week. We're doing the live show at 7 pm mst on monday, it will be episode 71. Well, thats about it, if i have phone service, i'll do some mobile blogging in miami. BYE
