Generous Pessimist

Pessimist sadistic generous hedonist
rolling dice to see the snake eyes venom spit
I keep it all bottled up inside this box
buried in the dirt where X marks the spot

I've shed skin more than a few times
mowing the lawn for your snake in the grass crude minds
its that kind of mental that causes my rental
your just like a walking talking detrimental

accident waiting to happen
drained of all thought yet stained full of passion
we're running low now we have to ration
should have listened better or at least read the caption

this picture is worth about three words
weaving a path to steer clear of all these nerds
I bleed absurdity disturbed by my certainty
that nothing in this life will ever go perfectly

I purposefully drift through all these corpses
to take home the one with the most psychosis
that's important, its hard to find good character
someone as crazy as me to share the air

look at me with your crooked sleep
eyes red and runny, wondering who took the sheep
I counted to ten and then they were gone
and now all I have is this goddamn alarm

but it never snoozes, once again I'm the one that loses
all this abuse is why I never heal bruises
of course its not my fault, I'm not the one that chooses
we're clueless pictures of ancient ruined druids

our fluids all dried up we're through trying to buy luck
we hide stuff like pack rats to prove we've climbed high enough
we're attracted to anything and everything interactive
realities not real enough so now we have to hack it

we attack countries that live in the sand
we feed on their fear when we make our demands
our lands span from point a to point b
with everything in between, self appointed democracy

like we're lost at sea with one life vest to share
and now we have to decide who gets to wear it
fuck it we're careless medium rare derelicts
heretics burning at the same stake our parents did
